The Neurobiology and Anatomy department Postdoc Group aims to enhance the training experiences of postdocs during their time with the department. The group is self-governing and currently led by Maddie Kyrke-Smith and Sarah Anderson (co-chairs). The group has, and is continuing to identify a number of ways in which the department can assist in the career development of postdocs, as well as engaging in social events and professional development sessions.
As postdocs, we’re not all the same, and share different backgrounds. And that’s our greatest strength. We draw on the differences in who we are, what we’ve experienced, and how we think. Scientific progress can never be achieved alone, that's why we believe that including everyone, will further our knowledge.
